Malacca is the historical state of Malaysia, rich with heritage buildings, ancient landmarks and colonial structures. A small place ideal for a short getaway.

It was ok in general. Apart from the flush that is quite difficult to press on, the staff are friendly and they served decent breakfast.

(Jonker Street) Not quite sure why but MAMEE is quite popular in Malacca.

Things to eat in Malacca - Peranakan Food, Bak Zhang aka Rice Dumpling, Chendol, Gula Melaka, Lok Lok aka Satay Steamboat, Millie Crepe Cakes

Baba Charlie Nyonya Cakes - Hidden in an unnoticeable alley, this is one of the places to visit and to get your "kueh" back to hometown.

Ondeh Ondeh - It was piping hot when we bought it and tasted too soft. So eat it only if it has cooled down, the texture turns chewy and tasted great with gula mekala oozing out.

Review: It was a quite disappointing judging it was our first meal. Otah, fried fish and Bua Keluat are the recommended dishes to order.

Review: The auntie (probably the stall owner) is a little unfriendly. There were no crowds when we reached. Rice dumpling is quite QQ but the filling could be more. Still worth a try!
