Taiwan 2015 - Taipei and Taichung

An impromptu trip with colleagues, we set off to Taiwan from 14 May to 18 May, covering Taipei and Tai Chung.

More lively and happening in the night. There will be flea markets during the weekends and you can find a few great bars and pubs around the corner.

Spotted a few Cosplays characters on the streets

(Taichung) Rainbow Village 台中彩虹眷村
It is quite an interesting village to visit if you are in Taichung. All the drawings/illustrations/graffiti on the walls, doors, grounds are hand-painted by the old Granpa Huang. The "Rainbow Ironman" was quite a comical street performer/artist who sings to entertain the tourists. You are allowed to take photos with him at no cost. But to applaud for his hard work under the hot sun, we donated some tips.

Yummy steamboat lunch at Carton King. I chose the Hokkaido concentrated milk soup with beef slice.
